About Kate Somerville
Kate Somerville grew up feeling uncomfortable in her skin. No one could help with her painful eczema. The solution she needed didn’t exist – she had to create it.
That determination led her to esthetician school and later, to providing medical skin treatments in one of the country’s top plastic surgeon’s office. She built a reputation for delivering impressive skin health results using science-backed treatments and custom formulations. Hollywood’s most famous faces became some of her most devoted clients.
As her expertise deepened, Kate began dreaming of a new kind of clinic – one that combined cutting-edge skin science with a truly glamorous treatment experience (we’re talking chandeliers in every room).
I collaborated alongside Founder Kate Somerville to develop and implement a strategic sales plan for the Kate Somerville Skin Care brand. This strategy integrated Kate’s signature services and products into the luxury hotel, resort, and spa industry, setting the stage for future retail expansion and attracting the attention of major luxury retail partners.
I successfully secured strategic partnerships and distribution with prestigious names such as Four Seasons Resort Maui, The Beverly Wilshire Hotel, Four Seasons Hotel Washington, D.C., Auberge du Soleil Napa Valley, Solage Calistoga, and Henri Bendel and also developed cross promotions with brand including DVF, Allure and more. Through these partnerships, I launched impactful co-marketing and promotional programs that generated significant revenue for both Kate Somerville and the strategic partners and ultimately led to her acquisition by Unilever's Prestige Division.
